Wow, this is one of the best meals I've ever had! I had the churrasco skirt steak with chimichurri and it did not disappoint. The steak was tender, cooked to perfection and seasoned amazingly well. It paired wonderfully with the chimichurri. The service was good, there was quite a long wait for the food but they were very busy. It's a very noisy place, small and the sounds just seem elevated making it difficult to hear those you are dining with. If you're in the Greensboro area and want a fantastic meal, give Embur a try!

Just updating my review. This is one of our go-to spots in Greensboro. Great options for vegetarians, pescatarians, and everyone else! Pizza and Peruvian Food plus fantastic service, a cute space, and great food are a total win! Parking can get tight and there can be a wait, so not ideal to show up with a large group without calling ahead. Highly Recommended!

The hallmark of great restaurants in my opinion is consistency and Embur has never disappointed us. We enjoyed dinner with friends and once again Embur delivered a tasty meal. The ladies both had arroz chaufa, one with chicken and one vegetarian. The roasted quinoa on the vegetarian really framed all the other flavors extremely well. That was a highlight. My friend had the skirt steak which was presented as ordered, a perfect medium rare. I went traditional and had a half rotisserie chicken and I opted for the black beans and rice as a side. What I love about the Peruvian chicken is how all the seasoning is infused in the meat and not just imbedded in the skin. Even the white meat is juicy and loaded with flavor. Peruvian spices are not hot or overpowering. I would say it leans more toward a Greek/Mediterranean profile. Service was attentive and friendly. We sat outside which was incredible comfortable. If you are in the market for a casual and reasonably priced dining experience then you need to give Embur a try.

If you're looking for a real Peruvian restaurant, you've found it! The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is very good! We ordered the shrimp iza as a starter, which is a super refreshing and light appetizer. The lomo saltado was well-made. Now, the highlight is the ceviche: very well-served, appetizing and beautiful! The kind of dish that makes you feel happy at the end! The only thing I would point out is the lack of a changing table for mothers with children. Other than that, I already want to go back!

i've been here several times. i like it, it's pretty good peruvian food fusion, but you can find good peruvian in greensboro for much, much cheaper. i'm a ceviche lover so that's what i normally get, but i have tried their salads, chaufas, and i love the yuca fries. good drinks, too. i heard the pizza is a hit, which i have yet to try, but tbh it feels weird ordering pizza in a peruvian place the inside is clean albeit a lil boring & the service is always good. only downside is that if it gets busy it gets very hard to hear.
